Accepting Bids
RFP for Algebra I, Algebra II, and
Geometry Curricula
The Lauderdale County Department of Education, 321 Armory Ave, POB 350, Ripley, TN 38063 is accepting bids for Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry math curricula for the 2019-2020 school year.
Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry full curriculum that focuses on Tennessee State Standards through a balance of conceptual understanding, procedural skills, fluency, and application. The curriculum should support rich classroom environment in which mathematical reasoning, mathematical discourse, and a range of mathematical practices.
The rigorous curriculum must include:
• real-world problem solving that develops deep
conceptual understanding,
• multiple representations to make connections and
show conceptual meaning and procedural fluency
• connects new learning to prior learning, demonstrates
multiple approaches while providing
multiple access points to learning
• uses critical thinking and complex reasoning that focuses
on higher DOK levels.
The curriculum must offer teacher support through professional development (minimum of one day), embedded on-going PD and technical support. Teacher and student instructional editions must be available with free digital access and with hard copy editions.
Quantities for student needs are 309 students in Algebra 1, 266 students in Algebra II, and 325 students in Geometry. Extra support materials are requested for approximately 40 students.

at 10:30 am.
