Several ways for local residents to vote
Registered Voters of Lauderdale County have three ways to vote, Early Voting, Absentee by-mail and Election Day.
Early Voting in person starts July 17 through Aug. 1 at the Election Commission Office at
217 N. Main St, Ripley. Voting dates and times are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Residents can vote in the office at their convenience.
Absentee by-mail ballots can be requested by: 1) Calling the Election Office at 635-2881.
2) Email a request to lauderdale.commission@tn.gov.
3) Fax a request for ballot to 635-3745.
4) Go online to print the request for ballot at govotetn.com. Complete a request and send to Lauderdale County Election Commission, 217 N. Main St, Ripley, 38063 by mail, fax 635-3745 or email to Lauderdale.commission@tn.gov The last day to request or mail a ballot out is July 30.
Election Day is Aug. 6 to vote at each individual’s county precinct. Polls open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Voters must have a Tennessee or Federal Photo ID to vote. To check registration or precinct location call 635-2881 or use online lookup at: govotetn.com.
